Sentosa (Beach Station / Merlion Park)

Beach Station

The Sentosa Transport Hub at Palawan Beach is an integrated transport hub comprising the Sentosa Express (Beach Station), the intra-island shuttle bus interchange, tram stops, taxi stop and a large basement car park that can hold up to a few hundred cars. It is the heart of Sentosa where guests arrive in Sentosa via the various modes of transport and where they transfer to the island’s transportation system to get to their destinations and other parts of the island. It is a meeting place for people and there are also eateries, food and souvenir kiosks at the concourse area. It is also just a stone’s throw away from some of the popular attractions like the Songs of the Sea and the IFly.

The Merlion

The Merlion Plaza is the gateway to Sentosa for guests coming from Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). It is also a popular venue for selected Sentosa events that are held every year and a must-visit destination. Standing tall majestically at 38 metres high on top of a man-made waterfall, Singapore’s largest Merlion is located here, commanding a mystical charm amid the greenery and cascading pools around it. Guests may stop at the different photo points at the plaza area to take a shot with the magnificent Merlion and its surrounding sculptures or visit the nearby eateries, retail shops and souvenir kiosks which keep the area bustling with life. As night falls, the special lighting effects of the area transform the Merlion Plaza into a magical and romantic place to visit with loved ones. It is easily accessible by the Sentosa Express (Imbiah Station) and the up-and-coming intra-island cableway (Flower Terrace Station) which will allow guests to travel from Merlion Plaza to Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point via Cable Car.
