Car-Free Zones

Regular road closures around Singapore are known as Car-Free Zones! Find out where and when they take place.

Car-Free Zones are road closures initiated by stakeholders in the precinct. Originating from the support of our Streets for People programme, endorsement from business stakeholders in the area turned these temporary closures into regular fixtures.

These car-free zones occur at regular intervals over an extended period with fixed dates and times. Take a stroll or enjoy some al fresco dining - we encourage everyone to enjoy these car-free areas!
