URA/DC PLAN RELEASE 4/94E (TO SUPERSEDE URA/DC PLAN RELEASE 2/92 E)
URA/DC PLAN RELEASE 4/94E (TO SUPERSEDE URA/DC PLAN RELEASE 2/92 E)

An updated street block plan (
URA/DC Plan Release 4/94E
) for the area bounded by Macpherson Road, Upper Aljunied Road, Cedar Avenue, Willow Avenue, Wan Tho Avenue and Bidadari Christian Cemetery and Upper Serangoon Road is now available from the URA.
The updated street block plan (URA/DC Plan Release 4/94E) allows mixed landed residential developments up to 2-storey in this area. This includes landed housing, cluster housing, strata bungalows and townhouse developments. A copy of this plan is attached for easy reference. It supersedes the earlier plan URA/DC Plan Release 2/92E which identified this area for part semi-detached and part terrace houses developments.
Street block plans are continuously prepared to guide the form, layout or plot size of in-fill development or redevelopment for certain areas. These are areas with a special character or where the property subdivision is such that some guidelines are required to rationalise the development pattern. These plans help to safeguard the ambience of existing conventional housing estates. The plans are available to the public when they are ready.
I would appreciate you conveying the contents of this circular to relevant members of your organisation.
If you or your members have any queries about this circular, please do not hesitate to call Planner Ms Claire Chan at Tel:329-3398. Our DCD Technical Enquiry Hotline at Tel:223-4811 would also be pleased to answer queries on this, and indeed any other development control matter.
Thank You.
