Embracing our island-ness
Our waterways

ABC Waters along Alexandra Canal
Launched in 2006, the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) programme has successfully transformed many of our canals and drains into attractive community, social and recreational spaces. Now, we can enjoy leisurely strolls, picnics, cycling, and other sports along these beautifully revitalised waterways.

Our island boasts various waterbodies, such as reservoirs and ponds, which are crucial for safeguarding Singapore's water supply. These natural and man-made sites also offer numerous water recreational opportunities such as canoeing, fishing, and scenic walks.
Our coastal recreational spaces

Beyond our reservoirs, our coastal areas also provide plenty of recreational opportunities! Organised kayak tours allow the public to explore our rich mangrove habitats such as at Sungei Api Api or Khatib Bongsu Nature Park along our northern coasts. There are also unique experiences available offshore, such as sea sports at the tranquil Lazarus island.
Inspiring fun and creating vibrancy for all

Co-create the Tourism 2040 Plan with the Singapore Tourism Board and chart growth opportunities for the tourism sector. We want Singapore to be a destination with diverse, unique, and fun experiences for everyone, including locals and residents. Central to this vision is our plan for a rich variety of tourism offerings in the years ahead.
Join STB in the reimagining of our tourism landscape, and look forward to an exhilarating array of attractions, events, and tours across the island with the Tourism 2040 Plan!
