    2. The fee for a search on the approved use of the premises is $53.50 (incl GST) per enquiry and on a single unit basis.

    2. If information on the approved use of the premises is available in our online database, you can expect an instantaneous reply. If not, a more detailed search has to be made through our records and the reply will be given to you in 7 working days.

    2. Changing the use of your property (e.g. from a beauty salon to a restaurant, or from a shop to commercial school) may require you to apply for planning permission. You can refer to the Considerations for Property Use to find out if the proposed use requires planning permission.

    2. To find out whether a change of use proposal can be allowed, please submit a change of use application for our evaluation. Before you submit the change of use application, you may wish to refer to Considerations for Property Use to find out if the proposed use requires planning permission.

    2. You can submit a change of use application and apply for licences and approvals required for your business via LicenceOne which is a one-stop platform allowing you to apply for multiple licences.

    2. The submission requirements for a change of use application are as follows:

    • Location Plan - For multi-unit developments (e.g. shopping centre, flatted factory), please attach a location plan indicating the location of your premises
    • Floor Plan - A floor plan showing the proposed layout and usage of the premises
    • Landowner’s Consent - If the premises are leased from the Singapore Land Authority, Housing Development Board of Jurong Town Corporation, please attach their letter of consent as land owner
    • Other supporting documents (if applicable) - These include a cover letter and clearances from other Government agencies (e.g. SCDF, LTA, NEA, PUB) relevant to your proposed use
