Exclusion areas for bars, nightclubs, karaoke lounges and live entertainment

We will not support new conversions to such uses at the following locations:

Areas where new bars, nightclubs karaoke lounges and live entertainment are not allowed:

• Historic Conservation Areas

• Shophouses located near residential areas

• Mixed commercial and residential developments and shophouses zoned Commercial and Residential or Residential with 1st Storey Commercial in the Master Plan

• Areas where there is a substantial concentration of such uses or where agencies have received adverse feedback on such existing outlets
