Filming and Photography Application
Find out how to apply for a permit for commercial filming and photography in Marina Bay's public spaces.
You need to submit an application for filming and/or photography at the following public spaces in Marina Bay managed by URA:
• The Promontory at Marina Bay
• The Lawn at Marina Bay
• Event Square
• Marina Bay waterfront promenade
• Bayfront Event Space
• Marina Bay lower boardwalk
This application is required only for filming and photography intended for commercial and corporate purposes or those requiring set up of equipment and supporting structures.
We reserve the right to stop any filming and/or photography if prior approval has not been sought.
To apply for the use of the public spaces for filming and/or photography, please complete the Filming/Photography application form.
Applications should be submitted at least fourteen (14) working days before the date of filming and/or photography. Processing of applications may take more than 14 working days for extensive set-ups.

Drone Flying
For filming and/or photography using a drone or unmanned aircraft please visit, please visit CAAS website. The designated area for drones to take off in Marina Bay will be The Promontory at Marina Bay or Marina Bay lower boardwalk.Fullerton Heritage

Essential information to note:
A refundable security deposit of $500 may apply for filming and/or photography at URA-managed spaces. If the applicant fails to reinstate the event space, URA reserves the right to carry out the required reinstatement works or impose a penalty, drawing from the security deposit. The full amount will be refunded if no reinstatement cost or penalties are required.
Depending on the scale of the filming and/or photography set-up, applicants may also be charged based on the Non-Renewable Temporary Occupation Licence (NRTOL) rates for events.
Busking Activities
There may be busking activities along the Marina Bay waterfront promenade and lower boardwalk. Filming applicants can check the busking schedule on National Arts Council's e-busking portal before submitting your application. Licenced buskers (hold a busker card/ a Letter of Endorsement from the National Arts Council) who have booked the designated busking spots via the NAC portal will be given precedent over filming requests.
