Precinct Profile and Boundary
Located at the gateway of the Central Business District, Tanjong Pagar is a thriving mixed-use neighbourhood with an interesting blend of old and new charm. The precinct is home to conserved shophouses, traditional hawker centres and markets, as well as modern skyscrapers. From global restaurants and bars to quaint cafes, local eateries, and even cultural monuments and boutique shops, Tanjong Pagar has something to offer for all.

Key Initiatives
Co-creation of an eco-playground with the Tanjong Pagar community at DTP Community Green which served as a popular gathering space for workers and local residents, and increased dwell time of visitors to the precinct.
Planting of 100 trees within the precinct in partnership with NParks’ OneMillionTrees movement to create a greener and more liveable neighbourhood.
Organisation of events at DTP Community Green such as Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day celebrations which added vibrancy to the precinct.
Served as a satellite site in partnership with i Light Singapore 2024 featuring 3 artworks and flea market at the DTP Community Green for local businesses. The partnership reinforced the precinct’s sustainability efforts, activated key public spaces in the area, and increased footfall and encouraged spending in the precinct.
Annual Tanjong Pagar Gives Back initiative that brings the Tanjong Pagar stakeholders and people together as one strong community. Since its inception in 2019, the initiative has helped more than 3,000 beneficiaries.
Discover Tanjong Pagar Coffee Crawl, which incentivizes visitors to purchase coffee from participating merchants in the precinct, promoting local café and coffee businesses.
