Precinct Profile and Boundary
Situated by the iconic waterfront of Marina Bay, Marina Central is located within Singapore’s downtown core, neighbouring the Central Business District and the Civic District. With its commercial offices, world-class hospitality and retail amenities, residential buildings and one of Singapore’s largest purpose-built convention and exhibition centres, the Marina Central district presents a convergence of diverse attractions and top-notch arts and entertainment experiences that appeal to locals, business travellers and tourists. The venues within the district are also served by a network of underpasses and link bridges for seamless connectivity and accessibility.

Key Initiatives
DISTRICT M: A Marina Central Festival – an eclectic two-day festival featuring live performances by homegrown and international musicians, with fringe activities across the precinct.
Neufolk as part of Singapore Design Week, with urban design and architecture tours, exhibitions, workshops and talks, anchored by a special design pavilion and public installations at different locations.
Activation of the Marina Square-Millenia Walk Link Bridge with events such as eco-markets, movie nights, craft workshops, fitness classes and more.
Installation of vibrant wayfinding sculptures and precinct branding signages to raise awareness of Marina Central and enhance wayfinding within the precinct.
Installation of colourful public swings around the precinct to enliven the space and invite visitors to linger.
Precinct vouchers and collaborations with platforms such as Chope and MoneySmart, which boosted awareness of precinct and sales and revenue for its businesses.
Corporate Social Responsibility programmes such as festive scavenger hunts and art installations to raise funds for beneficiaries.
