You will be able to obtain the following information from the Legal Requisition:
As the Legal Requisition only provides information on the latest planning decision and current Master Plan zoning, it does not provide information on acquisition of a property. For information on whether a property is affected by a Government Gazette Notification under the Land Acquisition Act, you may access the INTEREQ / PSS-INLIS under LAWNET. If you are not a subscriber of LAWNET, you can make use of Integrated Land Information Service (INLIS) provided by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), or visit SLA’s website.
As the Legal Requisition only provides information on the latest planning decision and the current Master Plan zoning, it does not provide information on Road or Drainage proposals affecting a property. For information on Road proposals, you may refer to LTA’s website or purchase a Road Line Plan via INLIS website managed by the SLA. For information on Drainage proposals, you may apply for a Drainage Interpretation Plan from Public Utilities Board (PUB) or visit their website.
The Legal Requisition can provide information on the approved use of the property only if the latest planning decision is an approval for a conversion of use of the property. Otherwise, information on the approved use of a property cannot be made known through a Legal Requisition. For information on the approved use of a property, you are advised to submit a search using the e-service Enquiry on Approved Use of Premises.
