In response to evolving needs, planning approaches are being adapted to support more flexible workspaces for businesses and workers.
In addition to more flexible business zones, we will also explore rolling out some sites on shorter leases and at lower densities, to provide more options and to be more nimble. This allows us to refresh our land uses in shorter cycles and facilitate businesses in accommodating future uncertainties.
In planning for sites with short-term leases, we will also take into account the considerations of various stakeholders, such as the need for developers to recoup their infrastructure outlay as well as to cater to their potential tenants’ requirements.
