These proposed amendments to the Master Plan may arise in any of the following situations:
(a) Change in zoning
(b) Change of plot ratios
(c) Designation of conservation areas
(d) Change of the Master Plan Written Statement, etc.
Under the Planning (Master Plan) Rules 1999, these proposals are to be made available for public inspection and comments. These proposals are submitted to Minister (Natonal Development) for approval, after which, the amendments will be incorporated into the Master Plan.
The following is a list of sites currently exhibited for proposed amendments to the Master Plan 2025.
Any reproduction of information on the proposed amendments should stipulate clearly that the actual development parameters such as building height are subject to other considerations (e.g. urban design and technical requirements that affect the prescribed maximum permissible intensity for the site).
