Attic

An attic floor is an incidental space underneath a main roof. It shall be confined within the permissible building envelope.

Roof terraces shall be located at least 3m below the top of the applicable building envelope line.

Mezzanine

Mezzanine floors are intermediate part floors located between two normal full floors. These shall be confined within the permissible building envelope.

There are no restrictions on the size of the mezzanine floor. The headroom for each mezzanine floor level shall provide good internal spatial quality for residential living.

Lift Shaft

Lift shaft shall be kept within the permissible building envelope.

Lift protrusions of up to 1.0m above the envelope control line may be allowed for lift overruns.
