To apply for a planning permission for a building project, you can submit a Development Application.

Submission Criteria for the Relevant Regulatory Approval Processes

From 1 Oct 2025, development applications for all new projects with Gross Floor Area (GFA) of 30,000m2 and above must be submitted via CORENET X. Submission formats under CORENET X are as follows:

  • Projects with GFA of 5,000m2 and above: IFC-SG format is mandatory

  • Projects below GFA of 5,000m2: 2D format or lightweight BIM are allowed

New projects with a GFA below 30,000m2 are encouraged to submit through CORENET X to familiarise themselves with the new processes. Otherwise, they may continue to be submitted via CORENET 2.
