'Building a Sustainable Singapore' workshop (year-round)
Programme runs until March 2027.

In partnership with City Sprouts, this 3-hour interactive programme delves into the heart of sustainable urban development.
Learn how innovative urban planning strategies enable us to overcome land scarcity, while embracing inclusive decision-making and responsible land stewardship.
Students will have the chance to step into the shoes of an urban planner as they design their very own green city, tackle real-world land use challenges through a role-playing activity, and even create a DIY urban farming system to take home!
Aligned with MOE's secondary school curricula in Geography, Social Studies, and Character & Citizenship Education, while complementing Values in Action, National Education, and Applied Learning Programmes, this hands-on workshop offers students an engaging experience in sustainable land use planning.

Learning resources to enhance gallery visit
1. Wayground Quiz
Explore the Singapore City Gallery with our interactive Wayground quiz. Designed as an hour-long self-guided learning experience, the quiz encourages students to explore the exhibits, make observations, and uncover insights about Singapore's urban planning journey through a series of questions and challenges.
Preview the quiz and access the teacher's guide on setting up and assigning the quiz ahead of your students' gallery visit.
2. Activity booklets
Browse and download our ready-to-use activity booklets that educators can adapt and use for their students’ learning journey.
These are aligned with the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum for lower and upper secondary Geography and upper secondary Social Studies.
Preview the activity booklets, and fill in this form to download the activity booklets.
3. Student Learning Space (SLS) lesson package
Tap the SLS lesson package on the Singapore City Gallery for students to self-explore the exhibits.
