Temporary road closures along PIE and adjoining roads

1 There will be a series of temporary road closures along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and adjoining roads on selected dates from 3 to 17 June 2026, between 12:00 and 5.00am. The closures are to facilitate ongoing bridge launching works for the new pedestrian-cum-cycling link across the PIE, which will enhance connectivity between Potong Pasir and Bendemeer as part of the Bishan-to-City Links project.
2 The dates and locations of the temporary road closures as well as traffic diversion routes are as follows. Please also refer to the maps in the Annexes.

Closure of CTE (City) Exit 8A towards PIE (Tuas)
Motorists travelling from Central Expressway (CTE) (City) to PIE (Tuas) should use CTE Exit 7C and continue via Moulmein Road and Thomson Road to rejoin PIE (Tuas).
Motorists travelling from CTE (City) to Lorong 6 Toa Payoh should similarly use CTE Exit 7C and continue via Moulmein Road and Thomson Road, before connecting to PIE (Changi) and Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.

Closure of Serangoon Road towards PIE (Tuas) and CTE (SLE/TPE)
Motorists travelling from Serangoon Road to PIE (Tuas) should use Balestier Road, Moulmein Road and Thomson Road.
Motorists travelling from Serangoon Road to CTE (SLE/TPE) should use Upper Serangoon Road and Braddell Road.
3 Barricades and traffic diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance, drive carefully and follow the directional signs displayed.
