PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTES
We refer to our streetblock plan (URA/DC Plan Release 1/95E) for Thomson Garden Estate dated 23 Jan 95.
We would like to inform you that the front setback of 2.4m for carporch is no longer required. Carporch, terrace and patio area at the front are allowed to abut the front site boundary except for columns which should be setback 2.4m. This relaxation is to take into account the shorter front building setback of 5m. The complete setback requirements are tabulated in Table 1 and an updated plan (URA/DC Plan Release 7/95E) is attached for your easy reference. This will supersede our earlier streetblock plan (URA/DC Plan Release 1/95E) for Thomson Garden Estate.
I would appreciate it if you could convey the contents of this circular to relevant members of your organisation.
If you or your members have any queries about this circular, please do not hesitate to call Planner Ms Rosemary Pang at Tel: 6321-8089. Our DCD Customer Service Hotline (Toll-free) at Tel: 1800-223 4811 would also be pleased to answer queries on this, and indeed any other development control matter.
Thank you.
Thank You.
