How to protect yourself against phishing scams
Here are some ways for you to protect yourself from phishing scams:

Verify links belong to government agencies before accessing them


Look out for the lock icon or https:// as an added precaution before sharing sensitive information

Never disclose your Singpass ID, password and One-Time Password (OTP)

Check for substitution of letters in URL (e.g. “-” to replace “.”)
Should you receive any suspicious contents (eg. emails, SMS, phone calls etc) that could be impersonating URA, you may report to URA's hotline 6221 6666 from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm (except public holidays). Alternatively, please lodge a police report online or at the nearest Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) or Neighbourhood Police Post (NPP).
