Comprising 100 hectares of land, Woodlands Regional Centre will be developed into a sizeable commercial hub and bring jobs closer to homes in the north region.
Over the next 15 years, Woodlands Regional Centre will become home to new spaces for industry, research and development, learning and innovation. Two thriving precincts
Woodlands Regional Centre will provide a variety of flexible office and industrial spaces to meet a wide range of business needs, all within an attractive lush and green environment in proximity to an expansive waterfront.
The new business node will have two distinct and complementary precincts — Woodlands Central and Woodlands North Coast — well-connected to each other via green, pleasant cycling and walking paths, including two pedestrian thoroughfares, the WoodsVista Gallery and the Central Spine. Collectively, Woodlands Regional Centre will be a unique live-work-play-learn gateway district in the north of Singapore.

A unique waterfront destination
Woodlands North Coast will be a new waterfront precinct with homes, lush recreational spaces and a range of business spaces. Covering around 70 hectares of land, Woodlands North Coast will be a well-connected mixed-use business and lifestyle precinct featuring flexible work spaces that encourage experimentation and innovation and are geared towards the needs of both SMEs and MNCs.
Woodlands Central

A melting pot of ideas, talents and activities
Woodlands Central will be a regional hub with a good mix of office, retail, residential, entertainment, F&B and other complementary uses. Upcoming office and retail developments will transform Woodlands Central into a major commercial node, enhancing its position as the main regional centre serving residents and businesses in the North. Some 10,000 more homes will also be introduced to Woodlands Regional Centre across the two precincts. With Republic Polytechnic located at the doorstep, this precinct will be transformed into a live, work, learn and play environment.
Running through the heart of the precinct will be the WoodsVista Gallery, a community link with designated cycling and walking paths. This will provide a seamless connection between the Woodlands MRT Interchange Station/bus interchange and the Woodlands North Coast precinct. It will be flanked by low-rise commercial developments with activities and community events, to create an intimate street experience. Getting around Woodlands Central will be a breeze with public spaces connected to a pedestrian network with covered walkways and dedicated cycling paths throughout the precinct.
The 30-hectare Woodlands Central will grow into an appealing, vibrant and well-connected environment for companies from business services, science and technology, and food and agri-tech sectors. Residents will also enjoy new recreation and entertainment amenities.

Sale site for mixed-use development at Woodlands Avenue 2
Residents, workers and visitors can look forward to the opening of Woodlands TEL station in 2019, which will be connected to the Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange upon the completion of its upgrading.
The sale of the land parcel above the Woodlands TEL station is for a mixed-use development with office, residential and retail space. This development will offer more opportunities for residents in the North region to work closer to homes and enjoy a wide range of F&B and entertainment amenities as well as a quality living environment.
It will also contribute greater vibrancy to Woodlands Central, following the completion of Woods Square, a commercial development with 58,000sqm GFA of office space, in 2019.
Connecting places
The land parcel is seamlessly connected to the Woodlands MRT station, where commuters can access both the Thomson-East Coast and North-South MRT Lines. It is also easily accessible via the Seletar Expressway (SLE), Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) and the upcoming North-South Corridor, Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor featuring cycling trunk routes and express bus services between Woodlands and the city.
The site will enjoy excellent public transport connectivity, with the upcoming TEL providing a new direct connection between Woodlands to the Orchard Road and Downtown business districts.
Connecting people

The future development will plug into an extensive network of comfortable connections for pedestrians and cyclists alike, linking people from the heart of Woodlands Central to other developments in the area, all the way to the rustic Woodlands waterfront. From there, cyclists can also connect to the round island route. New public spaces throughout the precinct will offer a lively pedestrian experience with an array of amenities for people to hang out at and enjoy. Together, this car-lite vision for the district will ensure a vibrant, sustainable built environment for workers, shoppers and residents alike.
