Cable chambers integrated within the main building are excluded from GFA if it does not exceed 2.5m in height¹.

Standalone Cable Chambers

Standalone cable chambers that fulfil either criteria below are excluded from GFA:

• The height² of the cable chamber, measured from the floor to the underside of the upper floor shall not exceed 2.0m; or
  

• The combined height² (a + b) shall not exceed 4.5m for Residential developments, 5.0m for Commercial developments or 6.0m for Industrial or Warehouse developments.
