ADVISORY TO HOUSING DEVELOPERS

1. As announced by Multi-Ministry Taskforce on 20 July 2021, existing Safe Management Measures (SMM) will be further tightened from 22 July 2021 through 18 August 2021 (both dates inclusive) in view of more COVID-19 clusters uncovered.
2. Under Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), the following changes will be made to the SMM for show galleries:
a. The maximum capacity for the show gallery and within the show unit(s) will be based on 16 sqm per person (rounded down to the nearest whole number);
b. The maximum number of persons in each group is decreased from 5 to 2 persons; and
c. Food and drinks will continue to be prohibited for visitors within the show gallery. For developer’s staff, salespersons or other personnel who are working in the show galleries, they may consume food and drinks in the office area subject to compliance with the Ministry of Manpower’s SMM for workplace.
3. All developers with existing and new show galleries are required to submit a completed checklist, setting out the revised safe management measures that will be put in place in the show galleries, to the Controller via email to ura_coh_registry@ura.gov.sg by 23 July 2021 for existing show galleries or at least 2 working days before re-opening/opening your show gallery. Developers can submit the checklist as soon as they are ready to do so. Please refer to the SMM checklist in Annex A [DOCx, 32 KB].
4. Developers who have closed the show galleries after 10 June 2021 should inform the Controller in writing by 23 July 2021.
5. As the situation is evolving, please continue to keep abreast of the latest announcements and take immediate steps to comply with the new requirements. We seek your understanding and cooperation to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
