ADVISORY TO HOUSING DEVELOPERS
Who Should Know:
All developers with a sale license
Effective Date:
19 July 2021
This has been superseded by the latest advisory. Please refer to the Circulars page.
As announced by Multi-Ministry Taskforce on 16 July 2021, existing Safe Management Measures (SMM) will be tightened from 19 July 2021 through 8 August 2021 (both dates inclusive) in view of the new infection clusters.
During this period, the consumption of food and drinks will be prohibited for visitors to the show galleries. For developer’s staff, salespersons or other personnel who are working in the show galleries, they may consume food and drinks in the office area subject to compliance with the Ministry of Manpower’s SMM for workplace.
The other SMM as set out in our advisory on 7 July 2021 will continue to apply to all show galleries. For new show galleries, please submit the SMM checklist, in the attached format, at least 2 working days before opening your show gallery. Please refer to the SMM checklist in Annex A [DOCX, 32.15 KB].
Developers who have closed the show galleries after 10 June 2021 should inform the Controller in writing by 22 July 2021.
As the situation is evolving, please continue to keep abreast of the latest announcements and take immediate steps to comply with the new requirements. We seek your understanding and cooperation to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
