Development Control Division is pleased to release the street-block plan for the Holland Village area at the junction of Holland Road and Holland Avenue. This is the 1st release for 1993.
The purpose of this street block plan is to retain the existing built character of the area which is predominantly 2-storeys. By limiting the height of intensification of the existing buildings, the charm and ambience of this area can be protected.
The street block plan ref: URA/DC Plan Release 1/93 E is attached for your reference.
There are such studies being carried out from time to time and it is the practice that they be made known in the same manner as and when approved.

HOLLAND VILLAGE AREA - AT THE JUNCTION OF HOLLAND ROAD AND HOLLAND AVENUE
The purpose of this plan release is to inform the public of an approved plan for regulating the storey height in the Holland Village area at the junction of Holland Road and Holland Avenue.
The height control is intended to retain the existing built character of the area which is predominantly 2-storeys. By limiting the height of intensification of the existing buildings, the charm and ambience of this area can be protected.
The control for the area is as follows:
All redevelopments and new developments within the area as demarcated in the attached plan to be not exceeding two storeys and this shall supersede the relevant portion of the existing Micro Zoning Plan Part 6.
The height control will not however affect those proposals which have valid Written Permission nor those existing buildings of more than 2-storeys within the area built with past approvals.
