CIRCULAR TO PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTES

  1. The Chief Planner of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has gazetted the approval of the Master Plan 2008 on 5 Dec 2008. The Master Plan 2008 was approved by the Minister for National Development on 27 Nov 2008. The Master Plan will guide the physical development of Singapore over the medium term.

  2. The Draft Master Plan 2008 was exhibited for public feedback from 23 May 2008 to 20 Jun 2008. URA had responded to the feedback received from the exhibition and the relevant ones were incorporated in the final Master Plan 2008.

  3. Both the Master Plan 2008 and its Written Statement are available in hard copy at the URA Centre, Atrium, Customer Service Centre, for public viewing during office hours.

  4. Individual map sheets of the Master Plan 2008 can be purchased at $20 per map sheet in hard copy or $10 per map sheet in downloadable PDF file. The Islandwide Master Plan 2008 is also available at $80 in hard copy or $40 in downloadable PDF file.
