Further to the Hillview Terrace Area Street-block plan announced on13 May 1994, URA is pleased to release an addendum to this plan to allow building heights of up to 10 storeys if the entire street block is developed on an en-bloc basis.
The revisedstreet-block plan ref: URA/DC Plan Release 1/2001E is attached for your reference. The guidelines are shown inAnnex A.
The relaxation would give additional incentive for developers to amalgamate the smaller sites and expedite the phasing out of the existing industries. With the 10-storey building height, developers would have the flexibility in having smaller footprints for the building hence, have more ground space for swimming pools, landscaping and other facilities within the development.
