  1. The Controller of Housing receives a large number of letters from your members requesting for approval on various changes to the prescribed forms in the Housing Developers Rules and the Sale of Commercial Properties Rules. To reduce the amount of correspondence and unproductive work, I have compiled two lists of amendments which may be taken as approved. The amendments in the lists can be incorporated into the respective prescribed forms without further reference to the Controller. The lists of pre-approved amendments to the prescribed forms in the Housing Developers Rules and the Sale of Commercial Properties Rules are at Appendices A and B respectively.

  2. I wish also to bring to your attention the Corrigenda published in the Gazette of No, 56/97 dated 7 Nov 97. The Corrigenda corrected some spelling errors and minor drafting inconsistencies in the Housing Developers (Amendment) Rules 1997 and the Sale of Commercial Properties (Amendment) Rules 1997. (See Appendices C & D).
