Advisory to Housing Developers
Who Should Know:
All developers with a sale licence
Effective Date:
1 Feb 2022
This has been superseded by the latest advisory. Please find it here.
As part of the nationwide effort to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) will be introduced at all developer’s show galleries.
From 1 Feb 2022, only those who are fully vaccinated, have recovered from COVID-19, are medically ineligible for all COVID-19 vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme or are children aged 12 years and below (i.e. born in or after 2009) will be allowed entry into the show galleries. A grace period will be extended to children born in December 2009 to allow them sufficient time to get fully vaccinated. Children born in 2009 who will turn 13 in 2022 will need to be fully vaccinated to enter sales galleries from 1 March 2022. From 1 March 2022, the concession for children will only be extended to those born in or after the year 2010. All recovered persons from COVID-19 who are not fully vaccinated will only be given a 180-day exemption after infection to enter the show gallery.
As the show galleries are workplaces, developers are reminded to comply with MOM’s guidelines for workplace vaccination measures, which should be applicable for all workers in the show gallery, eg. developer’s staff, sales persons, qualified persons, contractors, cleaners, security officers. Please refer to www.mom.gov.sg/covid-19/requirements-for-safe-management-measures for more details.
The other prevailing safe management measures for show galleries, as set out in our advisory on 22 Nov 2021, will continue to apply.
As the situation is evolving, please continue to keep abreast of the latest announcements and take immediate steps to comply with the new requirements. We seek your understanding and cooperation to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
