President Tony Tan Keng Yam visits “Journey of Possibilities” Exhibition!
President Tony Tan Keng Yam visited the exhibition on 2 May 2012.
During his visit, President met with some of the winners of the Ideas Competition. They shared with him their ideas and aspirations in addressing some of the key challenges in planning for the future use of the Rail Corridor. The exhibition runs from now till 11 May. Don’t miss the chance to see the exciting ideas from the public!

Formation of a Rail Corridor Partnership announced.
URA announced on 2 May 2012 the formation of a Rail Corridor Partnership to look into the programming and promotion of suitable community activities and events along the Rail Corridor. The Partnership is an expansion of the Rail Corridor Consultation Group to foster stronger collaboration between public sector agencies, interest groups, and individuals. The feedback gathered from these activities and events would help URA to draw up the brief for the Rail Corridor Master Plan and Design Competition that is being considered at the moment. Winners for the “Journey of Possibilities” Ideas Competition have been announced!
MOS Tan Chuan-Jin presented prizes to the 18 winners during the launch of the “Journey of Possibilities” exhibition.
The “Journey of Possibilities” exhibition showcases the winning entries of the competition and other innovative feedback and suggestions. Do visit the exhibition before 11 May 2012 at The URA Centre (1st Floor, 45 Maxwell Road) to see what people proposed! You may also view them online.

Register for the "Journey of Possibilities" Presentation of Winning Ideas now!
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is pleased to announce that the winners of the "Journey of Possibilities" – Ideas Competition for the Rail Corridor will be unveiled on 30 March 2012. The winners of the Ideas Competition will be sharing their ideas at a Public Presentation and members of the public are invited to attend the session held at the URA Centre on 30 March 2012, Friday, 7pm. Registration is free and seats are limited on a first-come-first-served basis.

Rail Corridor is now accessible to the public!
From 9 January 2012, the public can visit the Rail Corridor!
The Singapore Land Authority announced yesterday that the public can now enjoy walks along the Rail Corridor, with the exception of Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, as well as three sites identified for interim community use. These sites, which will be closed for improvement works, are near Jalan Hang Jebat, Ghim Moh Road and Kampong Bahru Flyover. For more details, please refer to SLA's website.
