The Diploma in Creative Writing for TV and New Media (DTVM) is a full-time diploma under the School of Communication, Arts and Social Sciences at Singapore Polytechnic. It trains students to be content creators for different media products for different audiences across different platforms such as print, broadcast, online and mobile. Students learn scriptwriting for drama, comedy and entertainment programmes, journalism, documentary and new media. This video is scripted, shot and edited by first year students as part of an assignment under the modules Scriptwriting for Entertainment Programmes and Video Production.

Mr Yunnos Shariff, 71, is a retired Warrant Officer and a volunteer guide of the Heritage Gallery at the Central Fire Station, which was built in 1908 and is the oldest functioning fire station in Singapore. He shares his memories of living and working in the Central Fire Station where he was born in and spent 41 years in the service. This short film is produced by Corine Tiah, Jheong Qi Lin, Bibiana Loh, Charlene Siah from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
