Before you proceed with the eService,
please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By
using the eService, you agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions,
do not proceed with the use of the eService.
ELIGIBILITY
Transfer is
allowed between vehicles owned by the same owner. If the
vehicles are owned by different persons or business entities, transfer
is allowed if one of the following conditions is satisfied:
- If both the applicant and the owner of the new vehicle (the vehicle to which the ticket is to be transferred)
are registered business entities, the two entities are associated
business entities.
- If the new vehicle is owned by a business entity and the applicant is an individual, the applicant is a partner,
sole proprietor or shareholder of the business entity.
- If the new vehicle is a hired vehicle, it must be hired
by the applicant.
The applicant shall undertake and agree in writing to ensure that the use and parking of the new vehicle will be in
compliance with all prevailing laws and regulations in Singapore, otherwise the application will be rejected.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED
Copies of the appropriate documents listed below shall be submitted to URA as proof that the relevant requirement set out above is
satisfied before the application can be considered:
Proof of relationship between applicant and owner
of the new vehicle
- If the applicant and the owner of the new vehicle are associated business entities, a letter or resolution
signed by all directors or partners or the sole proprietor of the applicant and documentary evidence
that the applicant and the owner of the new vehicle are associated business entities.
- If the new vehicle is owned by a business entity and the applicant is a partner, sole proprietor or
shareholder of the business entity, a certified extract of the business profile showing the particulars of the
partners, sole proprietor or shareholders of the business entity from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory
Authority (ACRA) (dated within the last 6 months).
- If the new vehicle is hired by the applicant, a valid leasing agreement for the new vehicle.
INVALIDATING A VEHICLE PARKING CERTIFICATE
If a Vehicle Parking Certificate (VPC) issued by URA to the vehicle is still valid, the applicant must either secure a
VPC from the operator of an alternative parking place, if the applicant has secured a parking lot for the vehicle in
the alternative parking place or obtained approval from Land Transport Authority (LTA) if the vehicle is sold,
laid-up or deregistered.
URA is obliged to invalidate the VPC and inform LTA if the applicant fails to comply with the above requirements.
FURNISHING OF PARTICULARS
Complete
and correct particulars must be furnished, otherwise the
application may be rejected.
ROLLBACK FOR FAILED TRANSACTIONS
If you encounter any technical problem in the course of
the transaction and wish to check on the status of the
transaction, please write to us at www.ura.gov.sg/contact us and provide the following details :
- Transaction identification number (if any);
- Point at which error occurred;
- Date/Time of transaction; and
- Error message (if any).
MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
URA may, without giving prior notice, modify
these terms and conditions from time to time. You shall be
deemed to have accepted and agreed to the terms and conditions
as modified upon your use of the eService after the
modifications have been made.
URA GENERAL TERMS &
CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS Of ACCESS
In addition to these
terms and conditions, the use of the eService shall be subject
to and governed by the URA General Terms & Conditions unless the provisions
of the URA General Terms & Conditions are contrary to and inconsistent with these terms and
conditions.
