1 Commercial building refers to (a) shopping and office developments approved on sites zoned for Commercial, or (b) other commercial premises approved within the allowable commercial quantum of sites zoned for Hotel, White, Commercial & Residential, Residential with Commercial at 1st storey, Business-White and Business Park.
2 Medical clinics have the same meaning as in the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (Cap. 248).
3 “HDB shops” refer to premises sold by or leased from the HDB for any commercial use.
4 URA will assess these applications with the relevant agencies such as MOH and LTA.
5 Planning applications submitted prior to 23 Dec 2014 resulting in an Advice or Refusal of Written Permission (RWP) will be evaluated based on the new guidelines upon resubmission after the Advice or RWP.
