We work closely with communities to retain the distinctive qualities of local identity areas through setting design guidelines for existing and new developments, and retaining key elements. These local identity areas are also being rejuvenated with new public spaces, upgraded streetscapes, or sensitive injection of new homes and amenities.

Dragon Kiln The Dragon Kiln, a unique local cultural feature, is retained within a lush park setting amidst JTC’s industrial estate.

Holland Village New developments at Holland Village will be designed along intimate laneways and courtyards to add new residences, retail and lifestyle uses and add to the charm of Holland Village.
New walkways and outdoor refreshment areas - progressively completed by 2H2019 - will spruce up the Jalan Kayu identity node. The existing low-rise streetscape is retained and street block plans developed to guide private redevelopments.
