One-Time Permit for Home Office Registration

  Published: 01 October 2010
  Theme: Inform (Guidelines)

Good news for home owners, tenants or occupiers of private residential properties – URA has made it easier for you to work from home. Under the revised Home Office Scheme, there is no need to renew the registration with URA every five years with effect from 6 December 2010.

New home office registration or renewals of existing home office uses will now be granted a one-time permit. The nominal registration fee of S$20 remains unchanged. However, this one-time permit will be revoked if there is a breach of the terms and conditions.

This one-time permit is another pro-business initiative by URA to help small businesses save costs. For more details, please read the circular.
