Southern Ridges

A Great Nature Experience

Escape the urban jungle into the wide array of nature at the Southern Ridges, a 9-kilometre seamless stretch in southern Singapore that spans various parks and lush open spaces. The trail is well-connected by nature pathways and bridges, offering some of the most panoramic views of the city.

One of the highlights of the Southern Ridges is the Henderson Waves, a 274-metre long bridge with distinctive wave-like structures connecting the hilltops of Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park. Rising 36 metres above the ground, it is Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge.

Enjoy the diverse greenery at HortPark, a 23-hectare gardening hub with carefully-manicured blooms and trees on display within 40 showcase gardens. To really get closer to nature, go on the Labrador Nature and Coastal Walk, comprising of three distinctive trails that stretch through parks, mangrove areas and seaside boardwalks.

The transformation and development of the Southern Ridges was awarded the Urban Land Institute’s prestigious Global Awards for Excellence in 2010.
