Our built heritage tells of our nation’s history and progress, gives us a sense of national identity and adds to the character of our city. We have a role as a community to keep our built heritage relevant as we continue to grow as a city of distinction.
The URA Architectural Heritage Awards (AHA) were first launched in 1995 to recognise well-restored monuments and conserved buildings in Singapore, and the people behind them.
The Architectural Heritage Season (AHS) is an annual festival that celebrates built heritage & well restored buildings. Beyond growing the professional skills in this area, we’d also like to cultivate the community and raise the awareness for URA’s conservation and balancing work.
Have a public space that you’d like to transform in your neighbourhood? We believe that there are spaces in Singapore that can be turned into places for the community and this transformation can begin with you!
