Upper-secondary and Pre-University students this workshop is for you! Take part in fun activities while gaining deeper insight into how long-term strategic planning shapes a quality living environment that we enjoy today, and a quality of life that ranks as one of the best in the world.

NUS Geographical Society x URA Workshops for Youth

Who should sign up:

Upper secondary and Pre-university students with an interest in geography, urban planning and design, the built environment.

What you can look forward to:

  • Explore Singapore City Gallery to learn about Singapore’s transformation story from past, present and future.
  • Presentations and fun interactive activities for students to learn and appreciate the importance of long-term planning and their ability to shape Singapore.
  • Critical thinking and collaborative skills, and exercise creativity in formulating strategies that balance different trade-offs.

How to register:

Educators can register on behalf of the students here. Note that each registration is valid for one class per school. A minimum of 20 students per workshop is required to commence and max. 40 students per school.
