Woodlands Regional Centre is poised to take its place as the largest economic hub in Singapore’s North region.
Over the next 15 years, new spaces for business, industry, research & development, and learning & innovation will be introduced to Woodlands Regional Centre on over 100 hectares of developable land. Nestled within a vibrant, green landscape, yet seamlessly connected with key locations in Singapore and Johor Bahru, it can serve as the strategic centre for the Northern Agri-Tech and Food Corridor. This Corridor will integrate the mix of uses in Singapore’s north, connecting the future Agri-Food Innovation Park and Woodlands Regional Centre with synergistic elements of the ecosystem in the North (such as farms, Republic Polytechnic and the Senoko Food Zone).

Agri-Food Innovation Park (AFIP) By bringing together high-tech urban indoor farming and research & development activities, AFIP @ Sungei Kadut will catalyse innovation in the agri-tech ecosystem.
Senoko Food Zone The JTC Food Hub @ Senoko Food Zone will cluster SMEs from the food sector in a seven-storey hub. This will support innovation in Singapore’s food industry and provide local job opportunities.
High-Tech Farming @ Lim Chu Kang Modern high technology farms are growing large volumes of produce all year round with significantly less resources. For example, Sky Greens has developed a 9-metre tall vertical growth system that is used in Lim Chu Kang.
Woodlands Regional Centre will benefit from a diverse palette of office, retail, business park and industrial spaces planned across the two precincts, Woodlands North Coast (WNC) and Woodlands Central. Along with its proximity to established industrial estates in Woodlands, Senoko and Sungei Kadut, this will position it as the key commercial centre supporting the Northern Gateway and Agri-tech and Food Corridor, bringing a broad range of good jobs closer to residents of the North.
Woodlands North Coast Building 1 The pilot JTC development, the first of its kind in Singapore, will offer options for the flexible use of industrial space for general manufacturing companies.
Bold and inviting, the waterfront precinct of Woodlands North Coast features new homes and exciting job opportunities within a campus-like and porous environment that supports collaboration. Flexible industrial spaces will encourage the co-location of knowledge-intensive and service-oriented activities alongside manufacturing operations.
At the junction of the North-South and Thomson-East Coast Lines (the latter opening from 2019 onwards), Woodlands Central will be a regional business hub, with office and retail developments conveniently close to new homes. New public plazas and cycling paths will make Woodlands Central a bustling destination for residents of the North.

WoodsVista Gallery & North Coast Vista Running through Woodlands Central and Woodlands North Coast respectively, WoodsVista Gallery and North Coast Vista will string together a variety of public spaces, creating pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly backbones to the precincts, and enticing people to the waterfront.
The upcoming transport hubs at Woodlands Central and Woodlands North Coast will further connect Woodlands Regional Centre via the bus and MRT networks to key destinations around the island. What’s more, the RTS Link will connect the Bukit Chagar Station in Johor Bahru with the RTS Link Woodlands North Station, creating a seamless transport link to key destinations in Singapore via the Thomson-East Coast Line.
