Keeping up with a steady supply of land, a total of 41 sites were made available in the first half of 2012 (1H2012) of the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme, yielding about 14,100 private residential units, 218,000 sqm Gross Floor Area (GFA) of commercial space and 4,800 hotel rooms.

To ensure adequate supply of private residential, commercial and hotel sites to meet demand, the second half of the 2011 (2H2011) Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme saw a total of 43 sites made available on the Confirmed and Reserve Lists.

Those who have good memories of the Capitol Theatre have much to cheer. The Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme for the second half of 2010 (2H2010) builds on the momentum of supply of private residential units provided for earlier in the 1H2010 GLS Programme, making the total supply in 2010 the highest ever in the history of the GLS Programme.

With Singapore's economy starting to recover, the important Business and Financial Centre (BFC) site has been scheduled to be made available for application in May 2004 as part of the Reserve List. However, as it takes time for the property market to recover, the Confirmed List for the Government Land Sales (GLS) programme will continue to be suspended for the first half of 2004, with sites only available through the Reserve List.
