A deal sealed...happy smiles...

The building agreement for the prime Orchard Turn site was signed on 13 March 2006 between the URA, representing the Singapore Government, and the successful bidders of the site, CapitaLand and Hong Kong's Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd.

Minister for National Development Mah Bow Tan graced the ceremony as its guest-of-honour. The architects and the retail consultant for the Orchard Turn mall were announced and they are Connecticut-based Pelli Clarke Pelli and UK-based Benoy respectively.

With the progress underway, shoppers can expect a spanking exciting development at the Orchard Turn by Christmas 2008!
