Award of Tender for Sale of Sites
- The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded the tender for Land Parcel B at Telok Ayer Street/Boon Tat Street and Land Parcel D at Gemmill Lane/Club Street to the respective highest tenderers. No award will be made for the tender for Parcel 1 at No. 38 Blair Road as the price was much lower than the Government's assessment of the market value for the site.
- The tender was launched on 21 October 1998 and closed on 18 November 1998. The land parcels were offered for sale on 99-year leases.
