URA launches tender for industrial site
at Ang Mo Kio Street 62

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has launched the industrial site at Ang Mo Kio Street 62 for sale by public tender today.

This is one of the four industrial sites to be released for sale under the Confirmed List of the 1st half 2011 Government Industrial Land Sales Programme, as announced by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on 31 December 2010. The other three industrial sites on the Confirmed List namely, at Fusionopolis Link, Irving Place and Woodlands Avenue 12 (Parcel 2) will be released for sale in February, April and May 2011, respectively.

Land Parcel at Ang Mo Kio Street 62

The land parcel at Ang Mo Kio Street 62 has a site area of about 2.8 ha and is to be developed for Business 1 uses with a maximum permissible gross plot ratio of 2.5 and a lease period of 60 years.

Under the Business 1 zoning, the site can be developed for various uses such as light industry, clean industry, utilities or telecommunication uses, as permitted under the Planning Act.

The tender for the Confirmed List site at Ang Mo Kio Street 62 will close at 12 noon on 29 March 2011. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only.

Developer’s packets containing details of this site and conditions of tender are available at $105 each (inclusive of GST). These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st storey of The URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The developer’s packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sale_of_developer’s_packet.html at a cost of $105 (excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchasers.
