URA launches tender for the office site
at Mountbatten Road
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has launched the office site at Mountbatten Road for sale by public tender today.
The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 31 October 2008. On 19 September 2011, URA announced that it had received an application from a developer to put up the land parcel for tender. The developer has committed to bid at a price of not less than $8,210,250 for the land parcel in the public tender.
Details of the Land Parcel
The land parcel has a site area of about 1.17 ha and a maximum permissible gross floor area of 11,739 sqm. The land parcel is earmarked for office development and will have a lease period of 15 years.

Other Details
The tender for the site will close at 12 noon on 1 November 2011. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only. Any tender below the minimum bid price of $8,210,250 will not be considered.
Developer's Packets containing details of this site and conditions of tender are available at $107 each (inclusive of GST). These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st Storey of The URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The developer's packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sales_main.html at a cost of $107 (excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchases.
