URA launches the tender for the industrial site
at Kaki Bukit Road 4
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched the industrial site at Kaki Bukit Road 4 for sale via public tender today.
The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 29 November 2010. On 5 January 2011, URA announced that it had received an application from a developer to put up the land parcel for tender. The developer has committed to bid at a price of not less than $18 million for the land parcel in the public tender.
Land Parcel at Kaki Bukit Road 4
The land parcel has a site area of about 2.45 ha and a maximum gross plot ratio of 1.0. Zoned for Business 2 development, the site will have a lease term of 30 years.
Under the Business 2 zoning, the land parcel can be developed for various uses such as light industry, general industry, warehousing, utility or telecommunication uses as permitted under the planning Act.

Other Details
The tender for the site will close at 12 noon on 23 February 2011. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only. Any tender below the minimum bid price of $18 million will not be considered.
Developer’s packets containing details of this site and conditions of tender are available at $105 each (inclusive of GST). These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st storey of The URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The developer’s packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sales_main.html at a cost of $105 (excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchasers.
