The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched the transitional office site at Mohamed Sultan Road for sale by public tender today.

The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List System on 31 October 2008. On 28 January 2010, URA announced that it had received an application from a developer to put up the land parcel for tender in about two weeks’ time. The developer has committed to bid at least S$9,333,333.00 for the land parcel in the public tender.

The site, with direct frontage along Mohamed Sultan Road, is located within the city centre and a short drive away from the business and financial hub at Raffles Place and Marina Bay. It is well-connected to the rest of the island via major arterial roads like Clemenceau Avenue and the Central Expressway (CTE) and the nearby Clarke Quay MRT station.
