URA Launches Tender for Residential Development
at Upper Thomson Road
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched the residential site at Upper Thomson Road for sale by public tender today.
The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List System on 29 April 2008. On 23 September 2009, URA announced that it had received an application from a developer to put up the land parcel for tender in about two weeks’ time. The developer has committed to bid at least S$82 million for the land parcel in the public tender.
Land Parcel at Upper Thomson Road
With a site area of about 2.08 ha, the land parcel at Upper Thomson Road which is earmarked for residential development can generate a maximum permissible gross floor area of 43,781 sqm.

Other Details
A tender period of about 4 weeks will be allowed for the site. The tender will close at 12 noon on 5 November 2009. Selection of successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only. Any tender below the minimum bid price of S$82 million will not be accepted.
Developer’s Packets available at S$105.00 each (inclusive of GST) for the land parcel. These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st storey of the URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The Developer’s Packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sale_of_developer’s_packet.html at S$105.00 (excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchasers.
