URA Launches Tender for an Industrial Site
at Tampines St 92 / Simei Ave

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched the Land Parcel at Tampines St 92 / Simei Ave for sale by public tender today.

This is the first of the two industrial sites to be launched for tender under the Confirmed List for the 1st half 2007 Government Industrial Land Sale Programme that was announced by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) on 30 January 2007. The other site on the Confirmed List, located at Kaki Bukit Road 3, will be launched in June 2007.

Land Parcel at Tampines St 92 / Simei Ave

The Land Parcel at Tampines St 92 / Simei Ave has a site area of about 2.0 ha and a maximum permissible gross plot ratio of 1.4, with a lease period of 30 years. It is zoned for Business 2 development.

Other Details

A tender period of 8 weeks will be allowed for the site. The tender will close at 12 noon on 10 April 2007. Selection of successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only.

Developer’s Packets for the land parcel are available at S$105.00 each (inclusive of GST of 5%). These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st Storey at The URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The developer’s packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sale _of_developer’s_packet.html at a cost of S$105.00 (inclusive of GST of 5% and excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchasers.
