These provide panoramic views of the city either from street level or from high-rise observation decks.

URA could require developers of selected future buildings, for example the future sale site above the Orchard MRT site, to provide publicly accessible look-out points.

These orientate people around the city, giving glimpses of prominent building and natural features such as hills and waterbodies. They also allow significant views to be protected.

The three additional view corridors and view cones are:


• The view corridor toward the CBD as you enter the city from Nicoll Highway, and
• The views from the Esplanade Bridge towards the Padang and Marina Bay.
