URA prepares long-term strategic plans (Concept Plans) and medium term plans (Master Plans) to ensure sufficient land for future developments and to support continued economic growth. URA ensures orderly developments to achieve a good quality built environment that are in line with the planning intentions set out in the Master Plan. Through development control guidelines that are disseminated through handbooks, maps and regular circulars, practitioners in the building industry are guided on the types of permits that are required for the various developments and uses.

URA is the state agent that carries out the sale of state land for various types of developments such as residential, commercial, hotels, industrial etc. to support planning and economic objectives. This is a one-stop site to access information on the sites that have been placed on the current URA Government Land Sales programme as well as historical data on sites that had been sold in the past.

URA compiles and disseminates useful information on Singapore’s real estate and property market. You can find the latest island-wide price and rental indices, vacancy rates and trends on the supply and stock of private residential, commercial and industrial properties.
