We have a strong team of urban planners, architects, system analysts, research and property officers and other support staff who are dedicated and committed to achieving our mission.

Our Workplace

We strive to make URA a great place to work, develop and grow. Our staff are well taken care of, both at work and outside work.

We have a rigorous career development framework to develop and groom our officers to their fullest potential. Promising officers are presented with training opportunities and overseas postgraduate scholarships to ensure they remain relevant in the fast-changing world. 

We also take good care of the health and family life of our staff. For our efforts, URA was awarded the Family Friendly Firm. We help our working mothers who have to juggle work and home through the part-time working scheme. A flexible reporting time scheme was also implemented to give our staff some flexibility in arranging their work hours. 

URA is not all work and no play. We have a well-equipped in-house recreation hub offering a wide range of facilities such as gym, squash courts, table tennis, karaoke lounge. We have an active programme of exercises like aerobics, yoga, taiji classes that staff can participate after office hours.
