URA compiles and disseminates real estate information through its publications and website. This is to promote market transparency and efficiency and provide a level playing field for all market participants, including individuals and small players. A new Internet-based Real Estate Information System (REALIS) was launched in 2001 to provide more timely and comprehensive property market information.
